The high plateau offers a great view of the coast and the mountains in the hinterland. Since there is little shade, you should not necessarily be out in the midday sun or well protected. From the high plateau, a path leads down to the ancient Lissos and Lissos Beach.

Vandring

Yes, exactly, you shouldn't go there in the midday heat, even in May. It's best to go early in the morning or late in the afternoon. The path through the gorge to Lissos beach isn't long, but does require a certain amount of surefootedness. There is a height difference of 146 meters and the path is difficult to walk due to the large amount of rubble.
