Vandring
In 1821 the village of Beyeröhde also received a fountain (or a "water fountain" - but that sounds a bit awkward).
When the urban water supply was interrupted in the spring of 1945 due to the effects of the war, it served many people from Beyeröhde, Pülsöhde and Langerfeld as the only water point. As they did 200 years ago, they brought the water from there in vessels to their homes.
The citizens' association renewed the monument on the corner of Beyeröhde and Thüringer Straße in 1994. The water that flows from it obviously does not go unused today.
