Since then, the "wild ride" on which Waldo Dörsch sent Diana hunting with bow and arrow has lost none of its artistic strength and expansive power. By interpreting the ancient goddess of the hunt very freely in her form and characteristics - a horse, for example, is not one of her classic attributes - Waldo Dörsch also avoided an overly one-sided view of the subject of hunting. In keeping with his lifelong artistic credo, he instead opened doors for a broad thought experiment about tradition, craftsmanship, passion, nature... and thus also a piece of urban identity.
