The Postmilensäule from the year 1722 pillar carries as special feature the Saxon-Polish double coat of arms on all four sides. It was restored in 1988/89.

At Lindenplatz in Leisnig stands the column of porphyry made with a unique feature. The column carries the Saxon-Polish double coat of arms on all four sides. The original can be admired at the castle Mildenstein.

A Saxon Postmeilensäule, colloquially also Saxon Postmeilensäule or just post column called, is a milestone, which specifies distances and walking times to an eighth of an hour exactly. These posts were erected during the reign of Augustus the Strong and his successor on all major post and trade routes and in almost all cities of the Electorate of Saxony to indicate the official distances. Since the Electorate of Saxony at that time was much larger than the present state of Saxony, such pillars can also be found in Thuringia, Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt and in Poland.
