The donkeys are sometimes in the middle of the path, but you can just walk past them. They hardly react.

The donkeys are cute and can also be petted. But still treat the animals with respect and very carefully. They have quite a lot of power and can also become very fast. I myself was very shocked when they galloped towards us. I think they are used to humans but probably shouldn't be fed.
