This is the beautiful church of San Pietro, just above Alpe Mezzedo. It is located in an enchanting place: a huge meadow, surrounded by spruce trees, overlooking Lake Como.

San Pietro is a parish church in Ortanella, a hamlet of Esino Lario. It is located in a field next to the Sentiero del Viandante that connects Esino Lario to Lierna, on a natural geographical balcony overlooking Lake Como, at an altitude of 996 meters above sea level. The Romanesque chapel belongs to the parish of San Vittore of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milan. A wonderful, almost magical place.
