The hillside meadows and adjacent wooded areas close to nature are characterized by a diversity of native orchids that is rarely found. These include the monkey orchid, which only occurs in a few locations throughout Baden-Württemberg, the hornless horn, the great spider orchid and all of our native forest birds. But there are still a good dozen different types of orchids to be found. Bock strap tongues were particularly numerous in May.

What are the best viewpoints or natural features to look out for in the Ersinger Springenhalde Nature Reserve?

The entire reserve offers picturesque views, particularly across the dry grasslands and meadow valleys. Are the trails at Ersinger Springenhalde family-friendly, and what are the rules for dogs?

Many of the paths are suitable for families, offering leisurely walks and educational opportunities to observe nature.
