The Zschonergrundbad is operated by the integration company Zschoner Grund gGmbH, a subsidiary of Lebenshilfe Dresden. It is a beautiful natural pool and was even Germany's most beautiful outdoor pool. But it's not just an outdoor pool, it's also a cultural center.

Built in May 1927 as the “Zschonergrund light and air bath” as a gift from the city of Dresden on the occasion of the incorporation of Kemnitz and Briesnitz, the Zschonerbad was closed in 1988 due to structural defects. The association “NaturKulturBad Zschonergrund” has been taking care of its revitalization and year-round use since 1996. With the three-sided courtyard built in 1836 from plan stones, this facility fits harmoniously into the valley. In 2010 a herb garden with over 50 species was created. In 2015 the self-cleaning natural swimming pool was reopened.

Vandring

The path is only passable in the summer months. Then the outdoor pool opened. For the rest of the time, a staircase can be used that leads around the outside of the outdoor pool.
