The Tappeinerweg, one of the many promenades in Merano, offers a wonderful view of the spa town and the Etsch Valley.
One of the most famous walking paths in Merano is without a doubt the Tappeinerweg, which leads from the city center along the slope of the Küchelberg. It is one of the most beautiful high-altitude promenades in Europe and offers a mix of alpine and Mediterranean vegetation combined with a wonderful panoramic view. Pines, Himalayan cedars, cork oaks, olive trees, eucalyptus, bamboo species and magnolias, agaves, aloes and prickly pears grow along the path.

Beautiful path for hiking. Also easy to navigate with a stroller. There are always beautiful views down to Merano and you can watch lizards along the way.
