In February 1991, local artists and graduates of the Dresden Art Academy, led by the artist Gudrun Oltmanns, founded an art association in the premises of the Old Fire Station. In the course of many years of socio-cultural work, the association repeatedly created a link between professional art and citizen-oriented culture.

Visiting this small place is a bit like traveling to another world. Take a little time for a tour. Perhaps you can also guess how the coexistence was shaped in 1837, because the chroniclers report that of the almost one hundred buildings of the Ratsgemeinde 18 buildings only one room, 52 at least two rooms, one of which was mostly only one room, and 23 had three rooms.
