The Hünenstein consists of colored sandstone. If it is a menhir, it has overturned. Its visible part above ground has an almost triangular shape, overall the stone could be more cube-shaped. Clear traces of processing are not visible, but there is a conspicuous groove on one narrow side.

According to a legend, someone who steps on the stone with an egg in hand on the morning of Easter Sunday, lays his ear on it and hears chicken chirping, should have the blessing of heaven all year round. (from Wikipedia)

A little off the path (but signposted) and accessible via a forest path is a (small) boulder: the Hünenstein

Judging by the inscription, it is not entirely clear whether there is a deeper meaning behind it.

For the little surprise in the forest, you can make the detour once.
The route isn't easy to find by post. But everyone has a navigation system these days.
