Be sure to visit the cemetery. In addition to a few prosaic epitaphs, you will find quite a few grave monuments that seem to compete with each other. The one of the de Ryckman de Betz family is particularly impressive, with space for 20 deceased. The war monuments for the Second Antwerp Expedition (1914) and the political prisoners from the Second World War are also worth seeing. Nowadays, no one is buried there anymore.
