    Devil's Pit (or Devil's Pit) - a geological natural monument (since 1964), located 4 km northwest of Aukštadvaris (Trakai district), driving towards Beižionys, Aukštadvaris forest district (10.16 sq. Km) in Kalvai forest, Aukštadvaris regional park Mergiškiai landscape reserve. Width 60-65 m - 200 m. Area 0.04-4.5 ha. Depth - 30-40 m. The thickness of the peat layer at the bottom is about 9.5 meters. Included in the list of the 100 most protected natural monuments in Europe. Mythological-sacral object of cultural heritage.
