Vandring
In De Gesteentetuin you take a journey through time. That journey starts about 200,000 years ago. In the Gesteentetuin you can see a number of boulders left behind by the glaciers of the penultimate ice age in the Noordoostpolder. In the visitor center you can view an exhibition about the origin of the earth and of stones. And of course you can also find information about the history and nature of Schokland.

Vandring
Take a journey through time in the visitor centre De Gesteentetuin. This journey begins around 200,000 years ago. In (and around) the Gesteentetuin you can see a number of boulders that were left behind in the Noordoostpolder by the glaciers of the penultimate ice age. Do you already know which walk you want to do through the beautiful nature around the visitor centre? The volunteers will be happy to help you with tips. Children can play in the play loft while you watch the film with a cup of coffee or browse in the shop with natural products.
