The streets around the harbor are a bit more lively. But the higher you go up the stairs, the quieter and calmer it gets.

The center of Agia Galini consists of narrow alleys with numerous cafes, taverns and small shops and houses decorated with flower pots. The coastal section of Agia Galini consists of the harbor with the small harbor pier, which is surrounded by taverns. It is difficult to swim here, so there is a small path above the harbor (800 m.) that leads over a hill to the beach of Agia Galini. There is a riverbed between Agia Galini and the beach section. A small, nostalgic bridge leads over this stream to the beach. The watercourse dries up in midsummer.
