Surrounded by mighty 4000s such as Matterhorn, Dent Blanche, Dent d'Hérens or Obergabelhorn, the lodge is the starting point for breathtaking and classic high alpine tours such as the Haute Route or the Tour du Ciel. As a hiking destination at the end of the peaceful Zmutt valley, you can reach us - without crampons - in 2.5 hours (from Schwarzsee) or on foot from Zermatt in just 4 hours in an unforgettable hike along the Matterhorn north face. Vandring
The easiest way is to take the cable car from Zermatt to Furi and start there via the road. This is the fastest way to get ahead and saves the ascent from Zermatt or the descent from Schwarzsee
