The monastery church Sonnefeld is a former Cistercian monastery.
The well-preserved complex with monastery church, late Gothic chapter house and monastery courtyard dates from the 14th century. The monastery church is now an Evangelical Lutheran parish church. The buildings are open to visitors during the day.

Just beautiful. It's also worth going into the church, at the back on the right you go into a small room where you can learn a little bit about the history of/about Sonnefeld.
