The path up to the Pogöriacher height allows a quiet rest at the top of the Pogöriacher Kreuz with a sensational view of Pogöriach and the lower Drautal valley towards Puch.
The cross is also accessible in winter, but it depends on the snow conditions, whether you should rather take the bike or the winter shoes.
Starting from Pöllan and from Pogöriach. When you start in Pöllan, you cross the military training area of the Federal Army and also receives views into the Koflachgraben and the Dobratsch.

The Pogöriacher Kreuz is also popularly known as "near the church". From this spot it is said that a farmer once looked for buried treasure there at midnight and is said to have been disturbed. He died soon after, but hasn't found peace since and always has to guard the treasure. If anyone passed this cross at midnight, he saw flames shooting out of the top of the roof. Everyone got scared and left this place in a hurry. To this day, nobody is said to have dared to look for the buried treasure there
