The Holzwarche River rises in Losheimergraben before ending in Lake Butgenbach. This section of the river is punctuated by beautiful scenery. There are numerous benches to enjoy.

Vandring

Great boardwalks, beautiful views of the lake and narrow forest paths / paths. In addition, there are always rest opportunities through benches and covered rest areas, which are in a remarkably good and well-kept condition. A nice section of a circular hike, especially since the rest areas are laid out in such a way that you also have a fantastic view of the lake, among other things.

Beautiful moor area at the reservoir and at the mouth of the Warche in the lake. A boardwalk will guide you safely across the swamp. Everywhere there are well-made display boards with information about the moor.
