Vandring
The Freihof is one of the oldest buildings in the city. The stone house, which is still medieval at its core, has characteristic stepped gables. Once a noble mansion with goods in Altwiesloch.

Vandring
The origins of the once walled and moated noble residence at the highest point of the medieval town are unknown. The humped blocks visible on the building have the same characteristics as those of the Wiesloch castle, so that parts of the building could date back to the late 12th or early 13th century. However, Adolf von Oechelhäuser dates the humped blocks later, namely to the first half of the 14th century.
