    February 25th, 2023 - Despite the advanced state of decay of the fortifications, there are still a number of building walls, including those of the Palas and parts of the vault and also considerable parts of the imposing ring walls. The castle hill offers a wonderful view of the Kamptal and Gars.

    The ruin Schildenelsprung, on a rock about 100 meters above the right Kampufer. Created before 1196. Since the end of the 14th century in decay. A nice trail leads up here, towards the end with challenging climbs. Once at the top of the beautiful ruin, you can look down on the Kamptal and have the opportunity to continue on two different single trails.
