Cykling
The Mausoleum of the Plauzi (or Mausoleum of the Plautii), near Tivoli, is a monumental tomb dating back to the very early 1st century AD. Also used by descendants, the mausoleum – a tall cylinder covered in travertine – today has a profoundly changed appearance compared to antiquity due to the fact that in the 15th century it was transformed into a tower to protect the nearby Ponte Lucano over the Aniene.
