Somewhat deserted place, unfortunately only a stump is left of the weeping willow that used to be there. The fountain itself, with Poseidon and Dionysus, advertises the Ensheimer wine and is quite nice.

Vandring
Surrounded by old half-timbered houses, the small and charming local community of Ensheim takes you on a journey of discovery into bygone times. Stone coffins, bronze swords and Roman coins were found in the area, which suggest that there was intensive Roman settlement thousands of years ago. The Brunnenplatz with its ancient willow invites you to linger and chat with the villagers - here you will also find pilgrim stamps of the Jakobusgesellschaft in Rheinhessen.
