Vandring
The Neckar-Enz positions were built between 1935 and 1938 and stretched from Eberbach in the Odenwald am Neckar to Enzweihingen near Vaihingen an der Enz. They were intended to prevent any French invasions across the Kraichgau. After the fall of the Western Wall towards the end of the Second World War, the Wehrmacht succeeded in delaying the entry of the Allied forces for twelve days through this second line of fortifications.
