The original 's Lands Huys, probably together with the church and the school, was built before 1630. The 's Lands Huys complex consisted of two buildings, the left block (the current café-restaurant) and the right block, which housed “Het Brouw Huys”, “Het Back Huys”, “De Paardestal”, “Ingenieurskamer” etc. .
At that time, the entire complex served as the staff complex of the Fortress. The last remains of this building complex were demolished around 1900. The current Landshuys was rebuilt on the found foundation remains.
