You can enjoy lovely walks through the Moerenburg-Koningshoeven landscape park, and there is also plenty of jogging and skating here by the people of Tilburg themselves. It is a wonderfully quiet and green oasis on the edge of the textile city of Tilburg. And what is also fun and educational: at ten points along the route you can read more about this ancient piece of nature.

Vandring

In 2005, the remains of Huize Moerenburg were found during excavation work on the site of the water treatment plant. This estate was one of the first three stone houses in Tilburg around 1310 and is therefore an important part of Tilburg history.
The former country house has not been completely rebuilt, but the contours of the building rise on the spot where it stood centuries ago. The municipality is also creating the orchard and the associated gardens and canals. Huize Moerenburg is made possible by a subsidy from the province of North Brabant.
