Vandring
The Hohendeicher See has a length of 2260 m and a width of 440 m. The deepest point is about 19 m. Various water sports can be practiced in and on the lake, such as swimming, surfing and diving. For this purpose, the German Underwater Club Hamburg has a jetty with an extra dive site on the south-east bank. The lake is also suitable for hiking (approx. 5.4 km), but the paths in the area of the campsite can be a bit muddy in spring.
