The Eichbaumsee is picturesquely situated directly on the Dove Elbe in Hamburg's Allermöhe district. The hiking trails and parks around the lake invite you to hike, walk and relax. At the Eichbaumsee you will find a lot of nature and space to breathe deeply from the hustle and bustle of the big city. You can have a picnic here, lie in the sun on the beach or walk your dog, which is sometimes even allowed to run free here. The combination of the lake and the Dove Elbe is really great.

A short detour to the headland is worthwhile because you are rewarded with fantastic views over the bay and the Dove Elbe.

A great place for anglers, you will probably have to get there early to get a spot. So many anglers don't fit in here ;-)
