* Birds: four species of woodpeckers including a pair of black woodpeckers. Also sparrowhawk, buzzard, kestrel, little owl, tawny owl, little reed warbler, wild duck, gadwall, shelduck, water rail and little grebe

* Mammals: foxes and dwarf mice
All these animals were spotted by Lieven Caekebeke who ensures grazing in the area with his sheep. He feasts his eyes while his sheep graze the area (begrazing.be).
