The village of Linn was incorporated into the city of Krefeld in 1901. With its historic city center, it was about 5 kilometers east of Krefeld, without a direct corridor. It was not until the incorporation of Oppums in 1907 that Krefeld had direct access to Linn and the Rhine

“Barred lake?” This is what the fishing club would like best. At the barrier, access to the lake is difficult, if you don't weigh 130 kg, pass the signs that prohibit “access to the fishing jetties and the shore”. Otherwise, the path around the lake is tranquil, rarely used and very picturesque with autumn-colored leaves - and also somewhat protected from the noise of the nearby motorway.
