Great hike even in winter. Especially with Bora Wind. It is very cold and you need good equipment because of a lot of ice. There are also a few climbing passages. But the prospects are unique. Alps, Slovenia, Italy, Austria, half of Croatia and 1/3 of the entire Croatian island world, down to Dugi Otok.

The climb over the ridge is fantastic, you often need to use both hands, but it's worth it.
