The old train station in Vaihingen an der Enz is being rebuilt and will be given a themed restaurant. The delivered train wagons are now to be used for the café and the outside area.

Vandring

Vaihingen (Enz) Nord station was located on the Württemberg Western Railway and was the starting point of the Vaihingen Stadtbahn (city railway). On December 13, 2002, the Vaihingen Stadtbahn was closed, ending passenger train service. The former city station has since been rebuilt and now houses upscale restaurants.

The old city train station is beautifully situated on the cycle and pedestrian path created in 2020 on the old railway line, with priority over crossing traffic.
