The ruins are remains of industrial activities such as copper mines and slate quarries. The waterfalls and rapids themselves are beautiful to see. This is an ideal location to take a break, possibly have a picnic along the water. Those who dare to brave the (very) cold water on a sunny day can also have some water fun here.

Vandring

Along the hiking trails to Snowdon's summit you can see a lot of old ruins. Most of them belong to the copper mining companies and slate quarries, which popped out in Snowdonia in the early 1800s.

Vandring

These ruins are located on the way to Snowdon summit along the Watkin path. Beautiful views that are worth seeing, no crowd of people because it is quite a difficult trail and especially the last 500 meters where you have to go up the hill and look for a place to put your foot.
