Downtown Rosenheim is very pretty, just around Ludwigsplatz and Max-Josefs-Platz.

You should definitely make a detour to downtown Rosenheim with Max-Josefs-Platz. Very nice building and great gastronomy. You should also visit the Riedergarten behind it.

The town center of Rosenheim is full of restaurants and ice cream parlors (perfect in summer!). It is necessary to stop a little to see the details and the history of this city, taken in triangle between München, Italy and Salzburg. Wood is worked there with a dedicated technical university and a discreet little wood museum in the town centre. It is worth the detour.
