A staircase goes up from the town center, opposite (ie "behind" the mountain) it also works with a bicycle.

Do not let the garden door stop you. It is closed because of the goats and sheep that graze and care for the small mountain. Simply open and then secure again.

St. Georg was built as a pledge chapel in 1838 after a ship train loaded with grain threatened to crash at the bridge in Braunau. The shipmaster Georg Riedl then vowed to build a chapel in honor of his namesake in his place of birth Kraiburg on the Schlossberg if he was rescued.
