The best pub in the world. Get a pint of Loweswater Gold whilst sitting in the beer garden with views of Melbreak. Can't beat it!

This has to be one of the best pubs in the Lake District National Park. Both the food and drink are of high quality. I thoroughly enjoyed the 'posh' fish finger sandwich on ciabatta and sticky toffee pudding!

For families, a popular choice is the circular walk around Loweswater Lake, which is relatively flat and offers beautiful views. Another option is a gentle stroll along the shores of Crummock Water. It's a rewarding hike for experienced walkers but might be too strenuous for very young children or those unaccustomed to fell walking.

Is public transport available to reach the Kirkstile Inn in Loweswater?
