The POW cemetery in Frauenkirchen, Burgenland, contains the graves of prisoners of war from World War I. The POWs came primarily from Serbia, Montenegro, Russia, and Italy.

A piece of history hidden in the meadows of East Burgenlsnd. Not only Serbs and prisoners of war were housed here, also Italians, Russians, deportees ... But what should I write in capital letters, there is a detailed information board next to the Serbian memorial and the Italian chapel. Go there and read!
