The park is open 24 hours a day, year-round. Cyclists are welcome throughout the entire castle grounds; bike racks can be found in front of the castle and the restaurant. It's worth seeing, a worthwhile destination for a detour or a tour.

Halbturn Castle, the most important baroque building in Burgenland, once served the imperial family as a hunting and summer residence. The castle in northern Burgenland, with its magnificent castle park, is one of the most valuable historical sights in the country. The castle was built in 1711 by Lucas v. Hildebrandt, one of the most important Austrian representatives of late Baroque architecture under the reign of Emperor Charles VI. built.
