Lucky Luke, the man of the Wild West, has also made world fame. From TV series to animated films, the cowboy with his trusty horse Jolly Jumper is much more than just a cartoon character. The side characters have taken on their own lives too: from the 4 failed bandits, the Daltons, to Lucky Luke's not so bright dog, Rataplan.
Lucky Luke first appeared in the Spirou Almanac in 1946. This drawing is one of the oldest comic strip walls in Brussels.
