Major restoration works have been going on since 2006: stabilization of the Gothic choir, replacement of the roof, cleaning of the stone walls, restoration of the stained glass windows... The work is always changing and every day visitors can visit the recently discover renovated parts.

The Tournai Cathedral, or Cathedral of Our Lady (French: Notre-Dame de Tournai, Dutch: Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Doornik), is a Roman Catholic church of the Diocese of Tournai in Tournai, Belgium. It has been classified both as a Wallonia's major heritage since 1936 and as a World Heritage Site since 2000. The Cathedral and Tournai is a beautiful location.

Tournai Cathedral is one of the most culturally and historically significant buildings in all of Western Europe. It is considered a model example of masterful Scheldt Gothic from the 12th century and is still very impressive for today's visitors. The five-tower cathedral is also the seat of the Tournai diocese and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site for more than 20 years.
