Vandring
Also known as Brier Wood, Birkby Brow is particularly beautiful in late spring and early summer, when a sea of bluebells are in full bloom.
Today the woodland offers peace and seclusion, but it was not always so. In the late 19th century the resident militia used to use the woodland as an arena to pracise their rifle skills.
