Vandring

Very nice main square with many restaurants, bars and shops. Unfortunately, the beautiful place is full of cars. Nevertheless it is an impressive place with the many beautiful buildings and the mighty tower.

The main square in Enns is the historic center of Austria's oldest town and is dominated by the striking 60-meter-high town tower, the town's landmark. Surrounding the square are well-preserved town houses from various eras, which today house shops, restaurants, and the Lauriacum Museum. The main square is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike – markets, events, and festivals are regularly held here. The square is particularly attractive for cyclists, as it is located on the Danube Cycle Path (R1) and offers an ideal rest stop with cafés and attractions.
