The name “Schloss-Bücke” for the route across the Hudau behind the castle is ambiguous: it traditionally refers to the listed urban building that was originally the gatehouse of the castle, which no longer exists. In the meantime, many padlocks adorn a specially made frame on the bridge shield. They are so-called love locks.
From the castle bridge you have beautiful views of the Hudau. Next to the bridge there is a nice rest area right on the water next to the canoe landing stage.
