Vandring

Since 1971, historic vehicles belonging to the Society for the Preservation of Rail Vehicles (GES) have been operating under the name "Feuriger Elias" on the Strohgäubahn line between Korntal and Weissach. The season traditionally opens on May 1st. Additional dates are the first Sundays of May, June, July, August, September, October, and December. Special tours also take place regularly.

On the journey with the "Fiery Elias" you are transported to the old days of the steam and diesel locomotives. He travels about 3 times a year and commutes between Korntal and Weissach. A nostalgic event! Great addition to hiking and cycling in the area of Weissach. Timetable and more at ges-ev.de
