In the center of Wolfsbach stands the late Gothic parish church, dating back to the 9th century. Particularly impressive are the fine net-ribbed vault, neo-Gothic windows, and modern elements such as the white marble altar and ambo. The church was last extensively renovated in 2011 and is the starting point for the meditation path with labyrinth stones.
A quiet place steeped in history – ideal for a short rest or a moment of reflection during a hike.
When traveling in the area around Wolfsbach, you can always see the church tower from afar. A great landmark.

A towerless Carolingian hall church, probably from the 9th century, could be detected during the archaeological investigations in 2011. In 1109 a monastery was founded in the Wolfsbach parish area, and in 1112 the Benedictine monastery in Seitenstetten was founded. The massive west tower was built in the 15th century, and today's sanctuary was consecrated in 1456. 1486 there was a fire in the church, probably in the course of the war of Matthias Corvinus. Finally, around 1500, the nave was expanded into a late Gothic hall. In 1517 the Seitenstetten monastery was incorporated into the parish.
