Vandring
Enjoy a stroll on the towpath next to the Leopold Canal, which was dug in 1846 - 1848.
The objective was to connect Zelzate with the North Sea.
Unfortunately, the works have stopped in Boekhoute.
The canal has therefore only fulfilled its function of draining the polder water.
Nowadays you can enjoy the lane that brings peace to the landscape.
