The Hotel Wißkirchen in Altenberg has foundation walls from the 18th century. Before the building was used for gastronomy, it housed a brickworks and a sawmill. The post office was still located here in the 1950s. The traditional house is located in the immediate vicinity of the Altenberg Cathedral and the Dhünntalsperre, in the middle of the Bergisches Land.

The meatloaf with fried egg 🍳 from the butcher Molitor was super delicious. 😋
