Vandring
Historically a very recent fountain that was not built there until the 20th century. There used to be a synagogue there. On the 8 sides of the fountain there are bronze representations of the seasons.

Vandring
The Seasons Fountain is a water feature created by Martin Wetzel in 1981. The fountain is a prominent feature of the small square between Apothekerstrasse and Burgstrasse. The octagonal basin is decorated on each side with bronze reliefs depicting the seasons and stages of human life. (from "Merseburg im Bild")
