Romanesque church in Monte Angellu, a district of Porto Torres in the Sassari region. It is located on a small hill with a direct view of the Piazza Maritiri Turritani and the Piazza San Gavino with the small park.

One of the 2 most important Romanesque churches in Sardinia from the 11th century. Not only very large for a Romanesque church. but also one of the few churches without a steeple.
Named after Gavinus, a Roman centurion who converted to Christianity and was baptized in the early 2nd century, paying the price with their lives and martyrdom along with his two Baptists.
