This is another of the important monoliths of the Park and is planted just on the road that follows the Carena del Pagès, between La Mola and Montcau. In addition he has the incentive to be the scene of the legend of the Dragon, a frightful being that inhabited the set of caves and galleries that pierced the needle and, from this vertical hiding place, he slaughtered the cattle and the farms of the region until Guifré el Pilós, count of Barcelona, exterminated it with swords.
